Aren’t they? There are so many just yummy and delicious looking ones around at the moment. I love Rachel Castle’s handmade confetti style ones, Little Jane St’s heart shaped ones and oh my, have you seen these amazing tassel ones by Confetti System? Wowee! But the ones I am really loving at the moment are designed by my friend Amber who owns Down To The Woods. A new and super sweet label that stocks and wholesales all sorts of goodies from all over the world, the felt ball garlands are her design though and I was lucky to be given two strands of these babies just because. We’ve all been having a lot of fun playing ‘hang the garland’. Coco has found true love and is adamant that one strand belongs in her bedroom. Preferably in her bed where she can be as close to it as possible. Finally one strand has found a home for now and that is on my beautiful Edie Harper print that Andy gave me for mother’s day a couple of years ago. Coco has probably eaten the other one by now. Seriously they are that good.

Ok so it’s old news now, but a few months back I was thrilled and humbled to be included in Handmade in Melbourne. A book profiling a bunch of amazing Melbourne crafts people, artists and designers. Thanks to those who came along to the launch at Readings Hawthorn and took part in my little how-to session. Fun.
