Studio life

Things are heating up in the studio. Figuratively and literally speaking. I never seemed to have the quiet January period that I had counted on to get stock levels up and sort out the studio for the year ahead. It’s been one order after another, customers and stockists keeping me on my toes. And in the heat of today’s 30 plus degrees, as I looked around the studio, I realised that I may never fully be on top of things and maybe that’s ok because it means if I’m busy, I’m working and if I’m working, I’m making money and these are all good things when you’re a one woman show.
I do however, need to carve out some time for making new things and I will. In time.

*photos from the studio today. 1. Some little patchwork trees that I found in my half-projects box and a painting that Andy did. 2. Part of my feather collection. 3. More old half-projects. Birds this time.
